Migrating from KeePass to V4ult
Export your database from KeePass as a CSV file, then import it into V4ult — V4ult recognizes KeePass's export format automatically.
KeePass can export its database as a CSV file via File → Export, choosing a generic CSV format. This produces a file with columns such as Title, User Name, Password, URL and Notes.
Once you have that file, open V4ult's importer (Profile → Settings → Import) and select it. V4ult recognizes KeePass's column headers (Title, User Name, Password, URL, Notes) automatically and pre-fills the field mapping.
As with any import into V4ult, only those fields transfer. If your KeePass database uses custom fields, attachments, or a nested group structure, those aren't part of the standard CSV export and won't carry over — only the core login fields will.
Advantages
- No manual column mapping needed — V4ult recognizes KeePass's format automatically
- Imported credentials get real-time encrypted sync across devices, unlike a local KeePass file
