Migrating from Bitwarden to V4ult
Export your vault from Bitwarden as an unencrypted CSV file, then import it into V4ult — V4ult recognizes Bitwarden's export format automatically, though only logins transfer, not TOTP secrets, cards or notes.
Bitwarden lets you export your vault as a CSV file from its web vault or desktop app (Settings → Tools/Export vault → choose the .csv format), which requires re-entering your master password to confirm.
Once you have that file, open V4ult's importer (Profile → Settings → Import) and select it. V4ult recognizes Bitwarden's column headers (name, login_username, login_password, login_uri, notes) automatically and pre-fills the field mapping.
What matters most for a Bitwarden migration specifically: Bitwarden's export can also include TOTP secrets (a login_totp column), card items, identity items and secure notes — but V4ult's importer only reads the login fields (name, username, password, URL, notes). TOTP secrets, cards, identities and notes from that same export are not imported and need to be re-added to V4ult separately, one by one, after the credential import.
